We built MoonRise because the gap was obvious.
The best design work was locked inside expensive agencies or scattered across unreliable freelancers. Growing businesses were stuck choosing between "too big and too slow" and "too cheap and too risky." We started MoonRise to be the third option.
Our story
MoonRise was founded in Rutherford, NJ by two people who got tired of watching good businesses get mediocre websites. Ezekiel brings senior product design and development expertise from years of work across fintech, fitness, nonprofit, and B2B. Sam Kwok brings the business acumen and client leadership that turns complex projects into smooth engagements.
Together, we've built a studio that punches above its weight. We work with a focused roster of clients so we can give each one the attention they deserve. No juggling 30 accounts. No handoffs to junior designers. Just two people who care about your project as much as you do.
